Yes, entertaining. After viewing these photos there is only thing to do is to strike up a conversation and discuss what we've seen. Try it, you'll understand what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, the conversations almost always weave towards the demise of the human species, but that's entertainment, right? At least that's what I've seen coming out of Holllywood recently, why not NASA? :)

I just can't find the name of the software anymore and it's driving me nuts. Can someone help me track this software down?

The creator went to school at MIT. He had a webcam and a simple lamp on the ground facing up to a piece of acrylic attached to the table. He was able to manipulate software with his iconized blocks, much like you see on this site.

His software was free!

What is interesting is that they are able to get a product to market. What I'd be interested in seeing/reading more about is how they are able to control temperature and light as well as reducing the amount of chemical inputs into the systems...

What of putting a series of fresh water fish tanks into the system to put nitrates into the water?

Schools could build these systems near or on campus to provide food for students...

Fresh water fish farming and crop growth all wrapped into one (healthy) closed system?

I've been talking about letting kids use their cell phones in class for years... the only reason teachers haven't allowed it is because they hadn't figured out how to channel the tech...

I've been waiting for this technology for awhile... glad to see it's out already! Looking forward to seeing how this evolves.

It will be nice when PDAs have something like this for 'instant' presentations. Load your slides as images on your 'camera projector' and, "Viola!" You are ready to go... now the question is, do these cameras allow you to play movies? Maybe that's what to wait for?

Infrared tools have enormous uses for the average consumer.

Home:detect heat loss so to plan for insulation.

For business: Anyone worth their weight in salt should be able to sell insulation with one of these cameras in their hands. Probably very useful in machine repair as well.

The best camera is the one that you have with you... that's been something I've been saying for awhile... :)

This app looks good for filters etc. and the sharing is interesting but I'm still looking for a photo organizer so that I can show folks where I've been without having to scroll through the 2000+ photos already on my Iphone!
